MUSICIANS ASK TO BAN FACIAL RECOGNITION AT CONCERTS
Tom Morello and Speedy Ortiz have started a movement called 'Fight For the Future' in which they want TicketMaster to reverse its plans for using facial recognition in place of tickets at concerts. Tom Morello's tweet read, 'I don't want Big Brother at my shows targeting fans for harassment, deportation or arrest'. the main aim of the movement is to make all attendees feel safe and secure and enjoy themselves with minimum monitoring. On the contrary TicketMaster believes that facial recognition instead of regular ticketing will be more convenient for and hassle free for attendees. Google's Play Pass 'Coming Soon'
Google recently confirmed that they are working on a new service called the 'Google Play Pass' through a tweet. Not a lot of details have been shared yet however a tester shared screenshots with the publication. The Play Pass will give the users access to a catalog of premium apps at a monthly subscription of $5! On the other hand Apple is also working on a $5 subscription which is soon to be launched by the name of Apple Arcade and which is expected to launch this fall.
